SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembly and test electrical activities within the team developing new medical devices to meet FDA and ISO requirements. This role requires hands-on experience using various hand and power tools to build, install, test and repair system components and circuitry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assembling, testing and troubleshooting CT scanners (up to 140kV)
  • Performing hi-pot, dielectric and ground continuity testing
  • Electrical and electronic rework and repair
  • Manufacturing and assembling circuits, components, and assemblies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of safe working practices including lockout-tagout procedures
  • Experience with high voltage electrical equipment
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong hands on electrical and electronic skills
  • Experience with medical equipment desirable
  • Familiarity with through hole and surface mount soldering
