SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembly and test electrical activities within the team developing new medical devices to meet FDA and ISO requirements. This role requires hands-on experience using various hand and power tools to build, install, test and repair system components and circuitry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembling, testing and troubleshooting CT scanners (up to 140kV)
- Performing hi-pot, dielectric and ground continuity testing
- Electrical and electronic rework and repair
- Manufacturing and assembling circuits, components, and assemblies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of safe working practices including lockout-tagout procedures
- Experience with high voltage electrical equipment
- Strong technical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong hands on electrical and electronic skills
- Experience with medical equipment desirable
- Familiarity with through hole and surface mount soldering
